okay y'all, my rad ol fiance hooked this blog page up and now I can keep you guys updated on how we are doing. So we are in Singapore right now...our very first FIVB event and we QUALIFIED! In the qualifier we played Thailand, then China, then Australia. Then we got into the main draw, being that we have no points whatesoever coming into this tourney, we play the #1 seed first, which was Brazil, lost in 2, then we played another Australian team (natalie cook, former olympian)and lost in two. It was such a great experience though, and we can't wait for Korea, which is our next stop. Since then we have been training, and exploring this tiny island. We are in Sentosa, Singapore, and it's a seperate island that connects with the main island through a bridge. Sentosa, is sort of like a resort island, so it's pretty darn nice. Today, Diane and i are going to go to the city and maybe do some shopping! what else do we do? we are off to Manila on Monday, then we leave for Korea on Tuesday.
