DOO DOO
So we played this morning.....i don't even know if i should call it playing. We played a Japan team, who we've seen play before, but never played against them.....lost in 2. It sucks, i know! 1 game, and pau (those of you who don't know pidgin talk, that means "done" "over"). We know we can't be too disappointed, because we can't always expect to do well, but it is hard to swallow. So now, we either stay here till Monday, and then be in Manila for a week, where we can't even train because there are no sand courts there or.........buy a plane ticket and go home. I vote go home.

Singapore
okay y'all, my rad ol fiance hooked this blog page up and now I can keep you guys updated on how we are doing. So we are in Singapore right now...our very first FIVB event and we QUALIFIED! In the qualifier we played Thailand, then China, then Australia. Then we got into the main draw, being that we have no points whatesoever coming into this tourney, we play the #1 seed first, which was Brazil, lost in 2, then we played another Australian team (natalie cook, former olympian)and lost in two. It was such a great experience though, and we can't wait for Korea, which is our next stop. Since then we have been training, and exploring this tiny island. We are in Sentosa, Singapore, and it's a seperate island that connects with the main island through a bridge. Sentosa, is sort of like a resort island, so it's pretty darn nice. Today, Diane and i are going to go to the city and maybe do some shopping! what else do we do? we are off to Manila on Monday, then we leave for Korea on Tuesday. But for now, my lovely fiance is the best, and thank you for creating this!!
